He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen Cheverie (Cheverie) of Souris, PEI; his son Kevin; his siblings, Kathleen "Kaye", Betty, Peter and George; his stepson Claude Richard (Claire); and his parents, Peter Walker and Edith Walker (Smith).
He is survived by: his wife Florine Richard; his children, Lynn O'Connor (late John), Gary Walker (Heather) and Sharon Gautreau (Ron); his stepchildren, Marc Richard (Sabra), Jacques Richard (Josée) and Nicole Gautreau (Charles); and his grandchildren, Leslie O'Connor, Kelly Belanger (Mike), Robert Walker (Kate), Michael Walker (Jamie), Julie Beyea (George), Sandra Kell (Dave), Karen Esculier (Stephane) and Jeff Gautreau (Catherine). He is also survived by 8 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, Crossroads for Women Moncton, the Canadian Red Cross or any other charity.
