He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Sherwood and Edith Sherwood (Warren); his son Russell Sherwood; and his siblings, Jean Boyle (Andrew), Helen Christie (George), Mona Mills (Royce), Faye Horseman (Doug), Alice Lutes (Paul), June Baisley and Gerald Sherwood.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Sherwood (Hawkes); his sons, Richard, Rodney Sherwood (Dinah) of Colorado and Reginald Sherwood (Susan) of Moncton; his daughter-in-law Tracy Sherwood; his grandchildren, Riley, Ashley, Amanda and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Katherine and Charlotte; and his sister Betty Hawkes (Doug). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Donald's memory may be made to the Mountain View United Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
