He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Connolly and Lovice Connolly (Champion); his siblings, Matthew, Kathleen and Marsha; and his nieces, Rennie Connolly and Debbie Connolly.

He is survived by: his wife Eva Connolly; his daughters, Christine LeBlanc (Bernard) and Cathy Connolly (Luc Bourgeois); his grandchildren, Joey Drisdelle, Julie LeBlanc (Pierre Belliveau) and Kevin Drisdelle (Josée Dallaire); his great grandchildren, Nico and Arielle; and his sister-in-law Julianna Connolly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Donald's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
