He is survived by: his parent Ruth Blakney (Goddard); his significant other Murielle Melanson; his brother Richard Blakney; his grandson Kyle Blakney; his friends, Brent Bleakney (Lynn), Brian Henderson (Karen), Gerry Eryanton (Debbie), Bernice Chiasson (Richard LeBlanc) and Sandra Welner; and also Melissa Douthwright.
