He was predeceased by: his father William "Bill" Slater. He is survived by: his mother Sheryl "Sherry" Slater; his wife Barb Slater; his children, Robyn Slater (Josh Robinson) and Keegan Slater; his sister Kristy Smith (Shane); his parents-in-law, Irma and Gilbert Drew; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Morehouse (Don) and Brenda Malone (Peter). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and many lifelong friends.
