He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Beck, Mutt and Mary; and his stepfather Brian. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Gilbert (Marguerit) of Moncton, NB and Bertha Harrison of Springhill, NS.; his siblings, Jill (Michael) of Truro, NS, Richard (Megan) of Moncton, NB and Antonie; his nieces, Vaeh and Ayla; and his grandmother Marjorie. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
