She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphée Richard and Eva Richard (LeBlanc); her husband Gérard; her son-in-law Frank Surette; and her siblings, Phyllis Léger, Léo, Louis and Guy.

She is survived by: her children, Jocelyne Wilt (Walter) of Moncton, Roger (Lynn) of Moncton, Paul (Anne) of Moncton and Louise Surette (Raymond Cormier) of Shediac; her sister Clémentine Richard of Moncton; and her sisters-in-law, Mae Richard of Moncton and Lena Richard of Moncton. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
