He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Betts and Betty Betts (Fearon) of Bass River. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne (Comeau) of St. Louis; his children, Adam Betts (Jesse) of Richibucto, Jesse Betts of Richibucto and Chalie Dawn Betts of Moncton; his siblings, Tony Betts (Cherie) of Bass River and Tamara Betts (Stacy) of Moncton; and his nieces and nephews, Krista, Jenna, Garrett, Danny, Trenton and Blake. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and many friends.
