He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Walsh and Clara Walsh (Robichaud); and his sisters, Willmina Connors and Kathleen Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his pets, Sweet Pea and Popeye; his children, Robert Walsh (Sue) of Moncton, Paulette Collier (Glen) of Moncton and Lisa Cundal (Evan) of Petawawa, ON; and his brother Ken Walsh (Louise) of Bridgewater, NS.
