He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah Barnett and Shirley Barnett (Mollins). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Barnett (Mercer); his children, Josiah Barnett (Cassandra McBeath) and Susan Barnett (Patrick Scribbans); his pet Rusty; his siblings, Geoff Barnett (Peggy), Kimberly Barnett and Sue Martin (Wayne); and his nephew Newfie.
