He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John F. McKinnon and Beatrice McKinnon; his sisters, Muriel Terris (Clyde), Gertie Cottell (Murray) and Marion McKinnon of Dartmouth; his wife Norma Jean Flynn; his sons, Brian (Gail) and Barry (Peggy); his daughter-in-law Heather McKinnon (Thompson); his grandchildren, Adam, Mark, Patrick, Jennifer, Allison, Laura, Blair and Brett; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Christine, Kamaya, Callum and Sonja.

This very special place remained an important part of their lives until the arrival of the recent pandemic.
