He was predeceased by: his parents, Eileen Allanach and Samuel Allanach; and his brother-in-law Kim DeWare. He is survived by: his siblings, Diane DeWare, Shirley Hicks (Ron), Karen Teed (Terry) and Bill Allanach (Denise Vick); and his sisters-in-law, Rose Theriault (Luc) and Debbie Thomas (Maurice). He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and 9 great-nieces and great nephews.
