He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred James and Margaret Rose Burke (Niles); his brother Alfred Burke Jr. "Junior"; his sister-in-law Janita; his siblings, James, Joan and Barry; and his father-in-law Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Charleen; his daughters, Jessica Heke (Chris) of Victoria, BC and Sarah Burke Dimitrov (Andrey) of Victoria, BC; his grandchildren, Rowan, Lexi and Nikolai; his siblings, Elaine Ouellette (Amand) of Grand-Barachois, Lois Landry (Jean) of Shediac, Douglas Burke (Anise) of Portage and Rose-Lynn Bourque (Guy) of Portage; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Boleyn; his brother-in-law Donnie Boleyn (Micheline); and his aunt Yvonne Brun of Shediac. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre (2642 Acadie Rd, Cap-Pelé, NB E4N1E4). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sainte-Thérèse D'Avila Church (2648 Acadie Rd, Cap-Pelé, NB E4N1E4).
