She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Melvin and Myrtle Melvin (Killam); and her siblings, Wayne Melvin, David Melvin and Mary.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alice Jones, Julia Steeves (Greg), Cora Melvin, Byron Melvin, Morgan Melvin, Gerald Melvin and Keith Melvin (Wanda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
