He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Bernard; and his daughter Linda Walford (James). He is survived by: his brother Alvin Bernard; his son Larry; his aunt Marie Bernard; his grandchildren, Katie of Johnny and Meagan; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Brodeur and Joyce Strayhorn (Al). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-grandson, great-great-nephew, and friends.
