He was predeceased by: his parent Cornelis Evers; and his siblings, Frans, Maria Neervort, Catherina Schutt, Kees and Albert.
He is survived by: his parent Bertha Evers (Gerritsma); his wife Jeanita; his children, Lorraine (Réal Daigle), Brian (Cécile Leblanc), Katheryn Léger (Guy), Patrick (Janice Lirette), Louise (Bob Collette) and Richard (Angie Légère); his grandchildren, Nicole Leblanc (Nicolas), Scott (Ashley), Justin, Jason, Marc, Brooke, Pierre, Julie, Jenny, Lynn, Michael, Véronique Leblanc and Danica Leblanc; and his siblings, Nick (Corry) of Moncton, John (Bep), Gerard (Hannie), Thérèse of Holland, Marie, Rose and Evi. He is also survived by his step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations can be made to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital, the Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
