She was predeceased by: her parents, George Haynes and Hilda Haynes (Oram); her husband David MacDonald; and her siblings, Anne "Betty" Scott, Carole Dykens, Sharon McGuigan, Charles, Harry and Robert Haynes.
She is survived by: her sister Lynne Walker of Hamilton, ON; and her stepdaughter Susan Gillis (Jack) of Fredericton. She is also survived by 4 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren; Barb also had many nieces and nephews.
