She is survived by: her children, Ronald (Gary) Byers (Peggy McPherson) and Ann Martin-Magee (Ralph); her brother Ken Garrett (Diane); her grandchildren, Geoffrey Martin, Kara-Lea Hansen (Jonathan), Patrick Byers (Shani Gregoire) and Jessica Cormier (Brad); her great grandchildren, Elliott and Nora Martin; and her grandchildren, Ryker Hansen, Emelyn, Luca Byers, Adalynn, Briella and Cormier.

Margaret & I sat at one table in the dining room... & Garda & Barb sat at another close by. When we'd go for lunch & supper, we always had our big smiles for each other & we were waving at each other with both hands... lots of chuckles! Barb had the greatest smile & we are going to miss her very much. May God bless you with peace & many happy memories.”
