He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Garnett and June Garnett (Branscombe); and his siblings, Kim and David. He is survived by: his siblings, Pamela Robinson (Ron), Harold (Tammy) and Brent (Tammy); his sister-in-law Jackie; and his aunt Joyce Killam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
