She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Pellerin and Ida Pellerin (LeBlanc); her husband David; her close friend Donald LeBlanc; and her siblings, Emile, Roy and Gloria.
She is survived by: her children, Roy (Bev), Tim (Sandra), Rita Steeves (late Jim) and Janice Fournier (Darren Eaton); her grandchildren, Meaghan, Janelle, David, Tara, Joshua, Jeremy and Jordan; her great grandchildren, Sloane, Reid, Theodore, Myles, Cheyenne, Tripp, Seth and Grayson; her sisters, Maggie and Leola; and her stepdaughter Marcelle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Alva's memory may be made to Hospice Greater Moncton or the Canadian Cancer Society.
