She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dunn and Cecilia Dunn (Richards); her husband Ralph Harold Gillis; her daughter Mary Joanne Gillis; and her siblings, Betty Godin and Brian Dunn.
She is survived by: her son Jim Gillis (Sheri) of Wellington, NS; her grandchildren, Haley Trenh (Danny) of Halifax, NS, Henry Gillis (Amanda) of Prospect, NS and Rowan Gillis of Wellington, NS; and her sisters, Aurelia Coughlan of Ontario and Bonnie Waye (Kenny) of Saint John. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
