He was predeceased by: his parent Philias Cormier; and his child Monique. He is survived by: his parent Arthèmise Cormier; his wife Jeannette; his children, Gisèle (Roland), Georges (Gisèle), Jacques, Paul (Francine) and Margot; his grandchildren, Julien (Lyndsey), Mélanie (Jérôme), Jérémie (Lindsey), Benjamin (Christine), Janelle and Luc; and his siblings, Dorine (Euclide), Lucie (Roland) and Fernand (Linda). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

The family would appreciate donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
