He was predeceased by: his parents, Borden Mattinson and Gladys (Bauer); and his sister Theresa Boyce. He is survived by: his significant other Rosie O'Brien of Moncton; his significant other's children, Donald, Suzanne, Eddy, Jeannette and Normand; and his siblings, Ernestine McDermott (Tommy) of Brown's Yard, Bob Mattinson, Fred Mattinson (Cecile) of Moncton and Clary Mattinson (Andrea) of Brown's Yard. He is also survived by many nieces and, nephews.
