He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Chevarie and Ida Chevarie (Chevarie); his siblings, Léo, Elsie, Gérald and Noëlla; and his brother-in-law Médard Maillet.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette (Chevarie); his children, Camille (Connie), Rachelle (Alvin) and Marc (Claire); his grandchildren, Matthew, Justin, Luc, Mélanie, Alexandre, Stéphanie, Isabelle, Miguel and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Joëlle, Jovie, Oli, Jasper and Layla; and his siblings, Ella Maillet (late Aldéric), Maria Vautour (late Adolphe), Marguerite Johnson (Elide), Germaine Vautour (René), Yvette Maillet (Jean Daigle), Claire McPherson (late Buddy), Marcel, Ronald (late Jeannette) and Ernest (Angèle). He is also survived by several nieces and, nephews.
