She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Briggs. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Sterling Stewart (Sylvia), Anne MacDonald (Lloyd) and Marilyn Smith (Merlin) of Greenfield, NS.; her grandchildren, Dean (Erin), Tina (Christian), Gregory (Flora), Lezley (Greg), Jocelyn (Craig) and Jonathan (Lilly); her great great grandchild Navy; and her brother Art Briggs. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
In Winnie's memory, donations may be made to the SPCA Miramichi, Dr. Gerard and Judy Losier Foundation or to a memorial of one's choice.
