It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilson Gordon Sobey (Miramichi, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 9, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Gordon Manfred Sobey; his sister June; his nephew Ross Sobey; and his parents-in-law, Lester Wyse and Isabel Wyse.
He is survived by: his spouse Lois Sobey (Wyse) of Miramichi; his parent Lola Sobey (Underhill); his daughters, Krista Morris (Colin) of Miramichi and Erica Hambrook of Miramichi; his siblings, Alexina Stewart (Perry) of Fredericton, NB, Alma Sullivan (Kerry) of Blackville, NB, Ashley (Keith) of Moncton and Cameron (Faye) of Howards, NB; his sister-in-law Darlene Murray (Brian) of Saint John, NB; his grandchildren, Alyssa Morris, Hillary Morris, Graydon Hambrook and Will Hambrook; and also Poppie. He is also survived by several cousins, one special to his heart Lois Vickers of Barnettville, NB as well as many great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care Unit Miramichi Regional Hospital or Miramichi Shrine Club would be appreciated by the family.
