He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murphy and Celine Murphy (Doyle); his siblings, Sharon Hackett and Terry Murphy; and his father-in-law Paul Amyotte.
He is survived by: his wife Denise; his mother-in-law Ida Amyotte; his sons, Joey (Justin) of Miramichi, B. J., Matthew (Jessica) of Fredericton, Gregory (Natasha) of Miramichi and Sean (Taylor) of Miramichi; his siblings, Joanne Murphy, Doreen Ahern (Brian), Heather Jardine (Terry), Mary Douglas (Scott), Jacqueline Murphy, Paul Murphy (Sharon), Edward Murphy and Todd Murphy (Carolyn); and his grandchildren, Skylar, Bryce, Gavin, Zoey, Lincoln, Kaden, Elijah, Benjamin, Thomas, Isabella, Jude and Seth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
