He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Holmes and Dorothy Holmes; his sister Marie; his brother-in-law Doug Lowther; his nephew Mark Lowther; and his stepson Kerr Martin Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Holmes; his children, David (Anne) and Patti-Gail Page (Darren); his stepchildren, Valerie O'Hearn (Stephen), Cheryl Carroll (Walter) and Daryl Martin; his grandchildren, Crystal, Garret, Colin, Donovan, Bryce, Jeremy, Krista, Lyndsay, Alison, Joshua and Rachelle; and his brothers, Gerald Holmes (Marg) and Donald Holmes (Ann). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In Bill's memory, donations may be made to Parkinson's Society or to a memorial of one's choice.
