Thomas Samms Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Samms (Miramichi, New Brunswick), who passed away on March 22, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Samms and Arthur Samms; and his siblings, Edwin, Llewelyn, Gordon, Marcy and Doris.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Samms; his children, James Samms (Patty) of Fredericton and Cathy MacDonald (Michael) of Miramichi; his grandchildren, Melissa MacDonald (Chad) of Edmonton, Alberta, Harlie Dick of Miramichi, Ashley Matthews (Lee) of Halifax and Adam Samms of Fredericton; his adoptive daughter Angie MacColl (Mark); his sister Audrey Preston (Wally) of Pynns Brook, Newfoundland.; and his great grandchildren, Cailey, Riley Tkachuk and Shea Matthews. He is also survived by other loving family members and life long friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arthritis Association and/or the Dementia and Alzheimer's associations in his memory.
