She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald Hare; her parents, John Sullivan and Helen Sullivan (Dewolfe); her husband Reg; her siblings, James T. Sullivan (Ted) and Sarah Allison (Sally); and her grandson Gavin Hare.

She is survived by: her children, Megan Hare (Jody Harding) of Fredericton, Mary Jane Nelson (Alexander) of Penniac, Michael Hare (April Doak) of Chance Harbour and Mark (Janet) of Miramichi; her grandchildren, Regan Hare, Thomas Hare and Emily O'Dell (Tyler Collett); her great grandchildren, Austin and Autumn Collett; her sister Patricia Meehan (Manus); and her sister-in-law Susan Kingston (Richard). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
