With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sterling Smith (Miramichi, New Brunswick), born in Quarryville, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 11, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Joan (Dunn); his parent Hiram Smith; his son James; and his siblings, Burton, Frank, Jack, Robert, Beverly, Margaret Johnston, Diann Johnson and Joan.
He is survived by: his parent Barbara Smith (Jardine); his children, Cheryl China (Carlo) of Sault St, Holly, Joy Mehta of Sudbury Ont, Terry (Roxanne), Todd, Gloria Johnstone of Cassilis, June MacTavish (Don) of Miramichi, Lucy Rice (George) and Faye Gilks (Edward) of South Esk; and his brother Delbert (Faye) of Derby. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Miramichi Shriners facts and figures unit, camp good time, or operation smile would be appreciated by the Family.
