She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence J. Burns; her parents, William "Willie" Hubbard and Irene Hubbard (Bryenton); her siblings, Margaret Gilks (William), Gladys Manderville, Wilson Hubbard (Carol) and Gerald Hubbard (Izella); her siblings-in-law, Helene McIntyre (Thomas), Mabel Dodds (Peter), Anne Burns, William Burns (Rose Marie) and Mac Hovey; her niece Sylvia Hallihan; and her grandson Paul Wallace.

She is survived by: her children, Lois Oldfield (Kenny), Wayne Burns (Darla) and Paul Burns (Paula); her grandchildren, Cathy Wallace, Larry Burns (Crystal), Michael Burns (Jenna) and Erin Burns (Christopher Foran); her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Walker, Parker, Flynn and Kennedy; and her siblings-in-law, Monica Hovey, Anna Curtis, Leo Burns (Susan) and Donald Burns (Joan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
