It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherman James Ashton (Miramichi, New Brunswick), born in Trout Brook, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Ashton and Evelyn Ashton (McNeil); and his sister Rolla Waye. He is survived by: his wife Mabel Ashton (Waye); his daughter Laura Lee Ashton (Ben Dick) of Napan, NB; his brother John (Clarice) of Miramichi, NB; his grandchildren, Graham and Anne (Shunamon); his great grandchildren, Reid Hebert, Bree Shunamon and Wyatt Sobey; and his nieces and nephews, Carmen Waye, Brenda Jardine, Reggie Waye, Rolland Waye, Dawn Hare, Tammy Ashton, James Ashton and Bruce Waye.

Due to Covid-19, there will be no visitation.
