He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McGuire and Muriel McGuire (Parks). He is survived by: his wife Mabel; his siblings, Barbara Pitt of Saint John, Claire Porter of Saint John, David Pitt of Saint John, Ronald McGuire (Audrey) of Saint John, Richard "Dickie" McGuire (Lynn) of Saint John and David McGuire (Ann) of Saint John; his brother-in-law Dick Wade; and his sister Elizabeth Wade. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
As expression of sympathy, donations in Sam's memory can be made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital or Romero House.
