He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Abraham Asoyuf and Zakia Asoyuf; his children, Sandra Giekie (late Robert) of Miramichi, Murial Asoyuf of Miramichi, Kathryn Ann Ursic (Peter) of Toronto, Jacki Asoyuf of Miramichi, Zakia Asoyuf of Miramichi, Abe (Diane) of Miramichi and Eli (Melissa) of Irishtown, NB; his grandchildren, Saul Asoyuf, Bonnie Jean Landry, Stephanie Ursic, Peter Ursic, Macrina Asoyuf and Emmett Asoyuf; his great grandchildren, Abigail Landry and Alexa Rae Landry; his grandson Adam Giekie; his son-in-law Robert Giekie; and his wife Susan Veronica "Bonnie" Reid.

In his memory, donations to Special Olympics, Saint Samuel's Roman Catholic Church or a memorial of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
