She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Burtt and Mary Burtt (McCann); her great grandchild Gwen; and her brother Sonny Burtt. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Munn (Fabian) of Miramichi, Andrea Vanbuskirk of Charlottetown, PEI and Tony Vanbuskirk (Shelly) of Miramichi; her siblings, Shirley Wilkins of Fredericton, Yvonne Burtt of Ontario, Laurence Burtt (Carol) of Miramichi and Kirby Burtt (Jean) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Mandi McGrath, Ryan Vanbuskirk, Dana Stewart, Evan Vanbuskirk and Robin Vanbuskirk; and her great grandchildren, J. J. Lavoie, Zoe Lavoie and Nora Stewart.

She loved flowers, but would have preferred that in lieu of flowers donations be made to "Cure SMA Canada".
