It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Quann (Miramichi, New Brunswick), born in Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on September 26, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Quann and Rubena Quann (Ross); his children, Betty Manuel, Dixie Hachey and Jimmy Quann; and his brother Billy Quann.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Quann (Joudry); his children, Vicky Reed (Earl) of Dartmouth, NS, Cathy Glidden of Miramichi, Judy Murphy (Leo) of Napan, Sharon Quann, Deacon Ted Quann (Anne) of Miramichi, Pat Quann (Sherry) of Miramichi and Bo Quann (Susie) of Miramichi; and his brothers, Jack Quann of Moncton and Everett Quann of Miramichi. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
