He is survived by: his wife Betty Henderson (McAllister) of Miramichi; his sons, Geoffrey of Miramichi and Jeremy of Miramichi; his siblings, Trudy Henderson of Miramichi, Linda Shaddick (Johnny) of Miramichi, Johnny Henderson (Sandra) of Sunny Corner and Wally Henderson (Theresa Beaulieu) of Miramichi; his grandchildren, Ryan Ward (Chad St-Onge) of Miramichi, Riley Ward (Devon Lewis) of Miramichi, Morgan Hodgson (Johnny Hamilton) of Miramichi and Mya Hodgson of Miramichi; and his godchildren, Johnny Stewart and Jenna Ryan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
