Patrick Layton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2023, at the age of 81, Patrick Layton (Miramichi, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Layton and John Layton; and his siblings, Katherine Layton, Eleanor Hamel and Bobby Layton.
He is survived by: his wife Viola; his siblings, Jack, Harold, Jim Layton and Rosemarie; his children, Patricia Johnstone (Scott), Paula Shaddick (Chris), Pam Goodfellow (David Jason), Margaret Arsenault (Norman) and Patrick Layton (Nikki); his grandchildren, AJ, Amy Adams, Jennica, Madison McLean, Jackson Shaddick, Taylor, Cameryn, Avery Goodfellow, Braidynn, Cole LeBlanc, Emma and Parker Layton; and his great grandchild Ivy Vautour.
As an expression of sympathy in Gary's memory, donations can be made to the Regional Diabetes Program – Miramichi or a charity of the donor's choice.
