She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Phelan and Mona Phelan (Kane); and her son Patrick Joseph Washburn. She is survived by: her husband Aubrey Gibson of Miramichi; her children, Cynthia Routledge (Wayne) of Amherst, NS and Jody Washburn (Pam) of New Jersey, NB; her sister Rose Dorothy Dickins (Robert) of Courtenay, BC; her stepsons, Kevin Gibson (Linda) of Fredericton and Greg Gibson of Prince George, BC; her grandchildren, Jason Routledge (Terra), Kelcie Routledge, Jared Routledge (Regan), Alex Washburn and Sarah Washburn; her stepgrandchildren, Maeve, Austin and Jordan Gibson; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Abby, Sybil, Blake and Hunter; her nieces, Shelley and Tanya; and her nephew Darryl.
