He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wood and Irene Wood (MacDonald); and his brothers, Hugh Wood and James Wood. He is survived by: his wife Jane Wood; his children, Jamie (Carie Perala), Melanie (Anthony Henman), Shelley (Charles Ford), Tim (Maggie Cheung) and Elizabeth (Korey Avery); his grandchildren, Matthew, Maggie, Celia Wood, Lauren, Luke, Riley, Lily Henman, Thomas, Peter, Claire Ford, Padraig, Tiernan Wood, Keifer, Brendan and Seamus Avery; and his siblings, Larry Wood (Betsy), Patsy Robichaud and Barbara Ellen McCarthy.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Northumberland Funeral Home (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 9:30 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
