She was predeceased by: her parents, Carman Silliker and Ruth Silliker (McKibbon); and her brother-in-law George Gilmore. She is survived by: her sister Twila Gilmore (Dale Hamilton) of Miramichi, NB; her friend Cynthia Tozer (Terry); her nieces, Carol Tozer and Ruth Ingraham (Jordan); her nephew Matthew Gilmore (Cara); her aunts and uncles, Louise Small, Arlene Silliker, Ned McKibbon (Patsy), Anna Silliker and Carmel Silliker; and her cousins, Starlet (Drew), Sandy (Terilynn) and Sonny. She is also survived by many other cousins and grand-nephews and nieces.
In Melanie's memory, donations may be made to the River Church Cemetery Fund or to a memorial of one's choice.
