She was predeceased by: her spouse George William Cooper of Gillis Lane; her daughter Joseph Poirier; her stepsons, Burton and Charles; and her brother Joe.
She is survived by: her significant other Freddy Irving; her children, Amy Cooper of Miramichi, Jimmy of Miramichi, Archie (Donna) of Miramichi and Kenny (Kelly) of Sexsmith Alberta; her grandchildren, David (Amanda), Matthew (Jessica), Meghan (Tom), Nathen, Keenan, Elizabeth, George, Will and Sam; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Brian; and also, Mildred Poirier (Paul), Nellie and Molson.
In memory of Mavis, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 3 Building Fund, Eastern Star, Miramichi SPCA or Moorefield Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
