She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Joe and Bertha Joe (Metallic); her son Mason D. Somerville; the father of her children Joseph Dalton Somerville; and her siblings, Mathilda Francis and Perley Joe.

She is survived by: her children, Marsha (Stanley) and Wesley; her siblings, Diana Ward, Doreen Joe, Corena Joe, Annabella Dedam (Sonny), Margaret Dedam (Simon), Muriel Dedam (John), Allister Joe (Nicole) of Esgenoôpetitj, NB and Arnold Joe (Margaret) of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; her grandchildren, Hannah, Jade, Gavin, Bethany and Benjamin Somerville; and her great grandchildren, Timothy, Trace and Elizabeth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
