She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Martin and Bertha (Ramsay); her husband George Thomas Briggs; and her siblings, Finn Boyd, Lorraine Casey and William "Blue" Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda MacDonald of Manitoba, Catherine Briggs of Miramichi, Jamie Briggs (Marilyn) of Miramichi, Lorraine Briggs of Manitoba, Mark Briggs (Lynn) of Ontario, Shawn Briggs (Josee) of Miramichi, Jefferey Briggs (Eileen) of Miramichi, Tommy Briggs of Miramichi and Jason Briggs of Manitoba. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Northumberland Funeral Home (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, or to a memorial of one's choice.
