It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Eileen Lamkey (Miramichi, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Lamkey; her daughter Dorothy McDonald; her son-in-law Kevin MacDonald; her sons, Thomas and Guy; and her siblings, Margie Guimond (Pete), Eleanor Richard, Kay Phee (Ed), Jimmy, Pat and Michael Keoughan.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Lamkey (Joanne) of Miramichi, Liz Lamkey (Greg) of Miramichi, Margaret Lynn Jardine (Terry) of Miramichi, Donnie Lamkey (Rhonda) of Napan, Nancy Racette (Yvon) of Napan and Patricia Lamkey (Manzer) of Miramichi; her siblings, Ann Wiwchar, Dorothy Atkinson (Gord), Susan Keoughan-McLean (John) and Paul; her grandchildren, Jennifer, John, Julie Lamkey, Jeffrey McDonald, Rory Lamkey, Daniel Jardine, Hannah Lamkey, Matthew, Tara, Jana Racette, Zackery and Cassie Lamkey; her great grandchildren, Abbie, Thomas Martin, Reese, Cohen Lamkey, Elin, Elyse, Isaac Lamkey, Landyn, Everly O'Donnell, Sophia, Kyra, Kyland, Kamryn, Korra Lamkey, Evelyn Jardine, Lana Racette, Daxton, Bryer Roy, Jaida and Shea Racette; and her sisters-in-law, Agnes Lamkey and Muriel Lamkey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
