She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Basque and Delina Basque; and her granddaughter Morgan. She is survived by: her husband Mack Govereau of Millbank; her sons, Jerry (Gayle), David, Tony (Elaine) of Miramichi and Kevin (Tamatha) of Moncton; her grandchildren, Jackie of Miramichi, Louise (Ron) of Moncton, Kevin, Michelle, Meagan, Jenna, Jamie, Austin, Mackenzie and Molly; and her great grandchildren, Lexi, Dawson, Rya, Owen of Ontario, Emmett and Elliott of Miramichi.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (140 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N9). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel (140 King St, Miramichi, NB E1N2N9). The social connections and joy of these gatherings were deeply missed during COVID restrictions.
