He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Muzzerall and Mona Muzzerall (McIntyre); his wife Donna Muzzerall (Doucette); his daughter Angela Dawn Muzzerall; and his brother Lloyd Muzzerall (Sam).

He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Muzzerall of Ontario; his siblings, Marilyn Muzzerall of Miramichi, Sharon Crossman of Moncton, Pat Poulsen of British Columbia, Brian Muzzerall (Mary) of Miramichi and Bob Muzzerall (Shirley) of Nova Scotia; and his sister-in-law Edie Muzzerall of Saint John. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
