He was predeceased by: his parents, John Furlong and Bernetta Furlong (Theriault); his daughter Tammy Mullin; his siblings, Kathleen, Stella, Benny, Clarence, Joe, Herman, Stanley, Gordon, Bernetta, Leo and Elsie; and his siblings-in-law, Frances Gordon (Bobby) and Cecil Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Furlong (Dunn); his daughter Kathy Sherrard (Billy) of Strathadam; his sisters, Gladys Diotte (Pat), Margaret Walsh (Jim), Doreen Kane and Julie Gallant; and his grandchildren, Candace Sherrard (Matt), Katrina Sherrard (Alex), Conner Mullin (Andrea), Brett Mullin (Cayln), Bryson, Brantley, Lincoln, William, Warren, Wesley, Joanna and Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
