It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Boland of Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 18, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Boland to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her father Frederick Matchett; her former husband John Fogan; her husband Melvin Boland; her daughter-in-law Jessi Fogan; and her siblings, Rosalie, Lawson, Gordon and Timothy.

She is survived by: her mother Mabel Matchett (Lumsden); her children, Robert Fogan of Amherst, NS, Ian Fogan (Vicky) of Saint John and Tina; her siblings, Linda Sobey (Arnold) of Maple Glenn, Joan MacDonald of Black River, Bunny Morris (Alvin) of Manitoba, Wendy Hamilton of Miramichi, Victor Matchett of Miramichi, Lloyd Matchett (Debbie) of Miramichi, Ronald Matchett (June) of Miramichi and Donald Matchett (Penny) of Miramichi; her close friends, John Hachey and Joleen Matchett; and also Isabelle Hachey (Belle). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
